Peace of Mind for You and Quality Care for Your Loved One

Respite Care (STA Available)
Short-Term Support That Makes a Lasting Difference
Our Respite Care service provides short-term support for NDIS participants while giving carers the opportunity to rest, recharge, and take time for themselves. Whether it’s for a few hours, overnight stays, or longer-term breaks, we offer safe, personalised care in a supportive environment—either in the participant’s home or through our Short-Term Accommodation (STA) options.
We understand how important trust and comfort are, which is why we focus on matching participants with the right support workers and tailoring each experience to individual needs. Our STA services are designed to offer a comfortable and enriching experience, giving participants a change of scenery while maintaining the care and routine they’re familiar with.

FAQs
Respite care provides short-term support for NDIS participants, giving their carers a chance to take a break. It’s designed for individuals who need regular assistance and whose carers may benefit from temporary relief. Respite care supports the wellbeing of both the participant and their carer by ensuring consistent, high-quality care during these breaks.
Respite care, also referred to as Short-Term Accommodation, is typically funded for up to 28 days per year under the NDIS, but this can be used flexibly. Stays can range from a few hours to several days at a time, depending on what’s included in your plan and what suits your needs
This falls outside the scope of respite care. However, if you're also receiving Accommodation & Tenancy support through your NDIS plan, we can help you address housing issues, communicate with landlords, and access tenancy advocacy services where needed.
Respite care can be provided in both individual and shared settings. You may choose to stay in your own home, a dedicated short-term accommodation facility, or a shared environment with other participants whatever feels most comfortable and aligns with your support needs.
Not typically as part of respite care. However, if you’re also receiving support through an Accommodation & Tenancy service, we may engage with housing providers or real estate agents to help secure or sustain appropriate housing. For respite stays, we ensure that the environment, whether home-based or facility-based, is safe, comfortable, and well-suited to your needs.
